NQ is the birth place of the Australian Bowhunter Association with a long history of Club Archery and Bowhunting.

From Mackay in the south to Weipa in the north and Isa in the west our region is geographically diverse meaning each club has its own flavour and unique features but all clubs have a welcome and story to tell to any ABA or visiting archer that wants to join in. We are the oldest and the best Branch in ABA.

The Branch committee is for the support of Clubs and promotion of our sport in the North Queensland Region.
